Help With Same-Day Delivery Orders for Shoppers (Uber / DoorDash)

We’re sorry if you’re having trouble with a same-day delivery order. Here’s what you need to know and the best way to get it resolved quickly.

Who Handles Same-Day Delivery?

  • The store fulfills your order. They prepare your item and hand it to a delivery driver.
  • Uber Direct or DoorDash delivers your order. The driver picks it up and brings it to you.
  • Locally connects you to the store. We don’t pack, ship, or deliver orders ourselves, and we can’t cancel or refund them.

What To Do If There’s a Problem

1. Contact the Store First

If your order never arrived, is missing items, or something doesn’t seem right:

  • Reach out to the store directly.
  • You can find their phone number and email in your order confirmation email or at the top of your order link.
  • The store can verify what happened, issue a refund, or help you place a new order if needed.

2. Contact Uber or DoorDash

If you believe the issue happened during delivery (e.g., the driver never arrived, delivered to the wrong place, or didn’t complete the handoff):

  • Use the tracking link in your order email to open the Uber/DoorDash support options.
  • Or, if it’s Uber Direct, you can call 1-866-987-3750 or email uberdirect@uber.com with your Uber Direct order ID (starts with “del_”).

3. Refunds and Replacements

  • Refunds for same-day delivery are processed by the store, not Locally.
  • The store may also open an investigation with Uber/DoorDash if needed.
