Analytics for Brands Dashboard

The Brand Analytics Dashboard shows basic analytics reports and displays tool engagement data. These analytics show tool engagements by retailer, product, region, and tool, as well as average inventory reports by region. Here are a few helpful definitions:

  1. Engagement - an instance of interaction (e.g., a user clicks on a retailer)
  2. Impression- an instance of display (e.g., a user is shown a retailer in a list of results)
  3. Referral - an instance of display with respect to a product in stock (e.g., a user is shown a retailer stocking a particular product)

When you first open the analytics dashboard it will display 7 days of data by default, but you can easily select and customize the date range as needed. Please note that we save up to 90 days of data, so it may be beneficial to download reports regularly!

In each Engagements view, total engagements by type is displayed at the top of the page.

Engagements by Retailer

This displays the top retailers shown across your Locally tools broken down by:

  • |     |Product Locator Referrals - A store showed up with reference to a product. 
  • |     |Store Impressions -  A store showed up in front of a shopper (on Store Locator or Product Locator) 
  • |     |Product Locator In-Stock Referrals - A store showed up with reference to a product variant in stock. 

Engagements by Product

This displays the top products shown across your Locally tools broken down by:

  • |     |Product Locator Referrals - Display of a store with reference to a product. 
  • |     | Product Locator Impressions - Product Locators loaded on brand site.
  • |     |Product Locator In-Stock Referrals - Display of a store with reference to a product variant in stock. 
  • |     |Other Engagements - Includes shopper impressions from locally.com, a dealer's locally.com subdomain, Facebook marketplace, retailer sites.

These data can also be narrowed down to a country/region/city by specifying location within the toolbar.

Engagements by Region

This displays the top products viewed by region. This can be a great sales tool for your team, as it describes what shoppers are viewing in specific geographic areas! The map and table below display the breakdown of each region.

Engagements by Tool

This displays all engagements across all of your Locally tools broken down by:

  • |     | Product Locator Impressions - Product Locators loaded on brand site.
  • |     | Store Locator Views - Number of times the Store Locator was viewed on your site. This includes the initial load and any new views if the user changed their location.
  • |     |Product Locator Clicks - Product Locator buttons clicked on brand site.

Please note that the total sum of all engagements will be inflated since we log each time a store appears in front of a user. For example during a Store Locator search, multiple retailers will populate as search results in an area; each instance is counted as an engagement. 

Inventory by Location

This displays overall inventory of products in stock across all retailers. The variables (amount/quantity and average/maximum/minimum) can be adjusted within the toolbar. Further detail can be found below the graph, where the data are displayed per city.
