Retailer Activation

Once your tools are live, it's time to kick Retailer Activation into gear. To do this, we've assembled a list of best practices for directing your retailers to sign up and setup their feed. Locally's Retailer Team is standing by to help your retailers get setup in no time.

Additionally, we will send you a branded one-pager with retailer sign up info and FAQs.

1. Key Account Intros

We'll put on our white gloves and work with your top accounts at our executive level by facilitating a direct email introduction between your Locally account management contact and your best contact(s) at the retailer. Use this for: VIP retailers, large format chains.

2. Direct Retailer Intros from Sales Reps

Sales reps love to push Locally. Reps can facilitate direct retailer introductions to our retailer support team by emailing a store and cc’ing retailers@locally.com. Our retailer team will then move the retailer towards activation. Use this for: all retailers, key regional accounts.

3. E-Blast to Stores

Send out an announcement to stores via an email-blast that provides a quick overview of how you’ve implemented Locally onto your site and a list of their next steps plus links to our website, help areas, and contact info for our retailer support team.

4. Sales Rep Training

Organize a formal training session with your sales reps facilitated via conference call and screenshare. These typically take 20-30 minutes. Have an upcoming sales meeting? Block off 30 minutes and have Locally call in for a remote training session.

5. Press Release

Using tools like Locally to better align your online strategy with your brick & mortar sales strategy sets you apart from most brands. Launching Locally is a great opportunity to tell that story. Locally can provide previous press release examples and a quote to help get this story out there.
