Single-Store Retailers

We have a Shopify app integration that allows single-store retailers to effortlessly broadcast inventory through the Locally system.

Do not use this app if you are using the Sync Locally app to send your inventory from Locally to Shopify. This is only to send inventory from Shopify to Locally, and both apps cannot be used at the same time.

Go here to download the Locally for Shopify app.

Type in your store name as it appears in the URL when you're logged in to your Shopify store, and click "Install." Do not include "https://".

Locally's Shopify connector pulls inventory every night at midnight, so any inventory updates you make during the day will be reflected the next day.

If you're not seeing any results the day after setting up your Shopify connection, please confirm that you're using vendor UPCs and that you have them in the barcode field. To check, open up a style, go to a SKU, in that variant check the barcode field. If the barcode field is blank, you’ll need to map the UPCs to that barcode field.

Note that our Shopify connector only works for stores with one location. 

Enabling your In-Store Prices

Locally pulls price from Shopify but we do not display it unless you opt in. To enable the display of your prices on Locally, simply open a ticket and let us know you'd like to enable. Learn more about displaying your in-store prices on Locally.

Multi-Store Retailers

If you are a multi-location retailer who uses Shopify, we now have an exciting option to share your inventory through the Data Export app.

Data Export is a paid service. Learn more about Data Export here. You can follow their instructions to use their pre-created Locally inventory report and set up the automated export to be emailed to Locally on a daily or hourly basis.

You have the freedom to choose whether you'd like to create one report and include all stores' inventory in it using Data Export's Location field or if you'd like to send one file for each store. Just let support@locally.com know which option you chose when your file gets sent to us. 

Data Export reports should be sent via email. Every store location in our system has a unique email address assigned that inventory files can be sent to. You can find your stores' unique email addresses in your Locally account under "Email Method" here

Data Export has around the clock chat support on their app during weekdays, so feel free reach out to their support team with any questions as you create your inventory report. Once you have completed setting up your report, reach out to us at support@locally.com to let us know that your inventory has been sent. That way we can get your inventory files connected to your stores correctly in our system.
