When placing a reservation for store pickup, shoppers can indicate when they would like to arrive at your store to pick up their order.
When you receive a reservation order, you will see the beginning time of their requested Pickup Window on your order screen here:
Pickup Windows are displayed for the Reserve Online, Pick Up In Store order type only, where you are holding the product for the shopper and they pay when they arrive. Pickup windows are not used for pre-paid order types (Buy Online Pick Up In Store, Same-Day Delivery, and Ship to Store).
Standard Settings
By default, the first pickup window a shopper can select is two hours - beginning at the top of the following hour - from when they are placing the order, and the shopper can select any available time today or over the next two calendar days.
Pickup Windows respect the Regular Store Hours and any Special Hours you have entered in your Locally profile. Shoppers are unable to select a Pickup Window during a time you are closed.
Customize your Settings
Locally's standard settings were designed to serve shopper preferences, so we recommend using the standard settings. If you'd like guidance customizing your settings, contact us here. By heading to Step 3 of your Buy It Locally Configuration panel, you can:
- Adjust the number of days in advance a shopper can request
- Adjust the "lead time" before the first available pickup window a shopper can select
- Enable or disable Pickup Windows
